As part of the European-wide event ”A Ball for All”, held in Thessaloniki from 29 April to 3 May 2026, partner organisations gathered to exchange good practices, participate in inclusive sport-related activities, and contribute to discussions on accessibility, participation, and social integration through sport. The programme included presentations, workshops, video interviews, networking activities, and public events focused on empowering young people and promoting inclusive values across Europe. PAR University of Applied Sciences participated as an associated partner, presenting its long-standing good practice ”Sail & Learn”, an experiential educational initiative that combines sport, teamwork, entrepreneurship, and inclusion. Through mixed teams of students, entrepreneurs, and participants with disabilities, the project demonstrates how sailing can serve as a powerful platform for social inclusion, leadership development, communication, and equal participation. Within the GRiiiS framework, PAR contributed by sharing inclusive educational and sport methodologies developed through the Sail & Learn programme, participating in international networking and dissemination activities, promoting accessible and inclusive approaches in sport and non-formal education, and encouraging dialogue on the role of sport in developing soft skills, confidence, teamwork, and social cohesion among young people. By participating in initiatives such as GRiiiS, PAR further strengthens its commitment to promoting healthy living, inclusion for all, experiential learning, and the creation of communities where diversity is recognised as a strength and participation is accessible to everyone, regardless of physical or social barriers.
