The panel discussion and book promotion ”Psychology of Management” (Assoc. Prof. Gordana Nikolic, PhD) brought together academics, students, entrepreneurs, and professionals to discuss the growing importance of psychological well-being, communication, and human-centered leadership in today’s rapidly evolving workplace. The event focused on contemporary challenges related to the future of work, including changing expectations of younger generations entering the labour market, mental health in educational and professional environments, emotional intelligence, workplace motivation, and the impact of digitalisation and artificial intelligence on organisational culture. Through the presentation of the book Psychology of Management, participants explored the intersection between psychology and management, reflecting on how modern organisations increasingly require empathy, adaptability, interpersonal skills, and inclusive leadership approaches. Particular attention was given to the experiences and expectations of students and young professionals, who are entering a labour market shaped by uncertainty, technological transformation, and changing work-life balance priorities. The discussion encouraged dialogue on how educational institutions and businesses can create healthier, more supportive, and sustainable working environments that place people at the centre of organisational development. By organising events such as this, PAR University of Applied Sciences continues to promote mental health awareness, soft skill development, and innovative approaches to preparing students for the future of work.
