From 18 to 22 November 2024, PAR University of Applied Sciences welcomed over 50 students from across Europe for an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) under the theme “Green & Digital: Human Footprints”. The programme was held in Rijeka as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, highlighting PAR’s commitment to dual education, entrepreneurship and cross-cultural collaboration. Throughout the week, participants engaged in interactive lectures, innovation workshops, and international teamwork, tackling real-world challenges connected to the green economy. The camp’s core task – to design a startup idea promoting Rijeka as a sustainable tourist destination – reflected the emphasis on combining academic knowledge with practical problem-solving. Visits to key urban and cultural locations such as the Art Quarter and city center helped students better understand the context of their challenge, while expert-led sessions on financial planning, business models, digital identity, and startup development provided essential tools for their final pitches. The Boot Camp exemplified the dual model of learning, bridging theory with hands-on experience, and encouraging participants to take an active role in shaping a greener and more innovative future. The event concluded with final project presentations and the awarding of certificates, marking yet another successful international collaboration at PAR.
