Conference “Digital Skills in the Future of Work” (June 2024)
The conference was carried out as part of a project funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) under a task commissioned by the Ministry of Education and Science (MEiN) entitled “Solidarity with Ukraine – European Universities”, within the project “EU4DUAL4Ukraine”.

The conference focused on key challenges and innovations in higher education, with a strong emphasis on dual study models, international collaboration, and the Future of Work. The sessions opened with discussions on the role of AI, digital skills, and joint research initiatives, highlighting the importance of cross-border cooperation in advancing educational practices and research excellence. Across all sessions, the conference reinforced the value of transnational partnerships, innovation, and adaptability in shaping the future of European higher education. Special attention was given to the resilience of Ukrainian universities, with speakers addressing the continuation of academic work and international collaboration during wartime. The conference sessions successfully created a dynamic and future-oriented environment. The agenda was marked by a commitment to practical engagement, transnational dialogue, and the co-creation of knowledge. What is more – the first edition of the Grand Challenges Forum, held during the conference, provided a platform for discussing aspects of the inter-work packages within EU4Dual.
