Experience artificial intelligence across Europe, learn and network together

This masterclass offers a unique continuing education programme for its master students.

Join our unique masterclass in artificial intelligence and data science. We bring together talented students from across Europe to learn, network and advance their careers.

The masterclass combines professional development with intercultural exchange. You’ll explore cutting-edge research in data science and artificial intelligence through practical workshops at leading European institutions.

Completion of the EU4Dual Master Class AI and certificate

  • You’ll receive our certificate when you successfully complete three modules at three different institutions. You can complete only one module per university.
  • Upon successful completion, the certificate “EU4Dual Certificate in Advanced AI Studies” is awarded by the participating EU4Dual partner institutions (no minimum grade point average or passing threshold).

Open for students who are completing a graduate programme (Master’s level or equivalent)

Study programme

Our application-oriented and practice-based programme consists of three modules. Each module takes place at a different partner institution and combines online learning with in-person workshops.

  • 5 ECTS credits per module (recognised by all partner universities)
  • Master’s-level content in data science and AI
  • Taught entirely in English
  • Flexible learning path – take modules individually in any order
  • No time limit for completion
  • 5 partner institutions offer one module each year

Online kick-off (4-6 weeks before workshop)

Virtual introduction covering key topics and organisational details. This prepares you for the in-person phase.

Preparation phase

Self-study period with optional virtual components. You deepen your understanding of the material before the workshop begins.

5-day in-person workshop

  • Takes place at partner universities in Austria, France, Germany, Hungary or Spain
  • Features lectures on current AI and data science research
  • Includes practical applications and group collaboration
  • Requires mandatory theory-practice transfer
  • Ends with graded assessment (see individual module descriptions)
  • Full attendance required
  • Limited to 7-25 students per module
