The 14th edition of the PAR International Leadership Conference (PILC) took place in Opatija and Rijeka, bringing together academics, business professionals and students to reflect on the theme of transformational leadership in the digital era. With a strong focus on the future of work, this year’s conference explored how leaders can adapt to fast-changing environments by combining empathy with strategy. Key topics included leading digital-native teams, developing resilient and innovative organisations, and redefining leadership roles in times of constant technological and societal shifts. In addition to academic presentations, the event featured practical workshops and open discussions, making space for the exchange of ideas, research findings, and personal experiences. For many participants, PILC 2025 was not just a conference, but a space to connect across sectors, sharpen leadership skills and gain new perspectives on what it means to lead today.
