PAR International Winter School

As part of PAR’s traditional Thursday guest lecture series, a panel discussion titled ”Communication Readiness in Dual Education: Are Practical Experiences Enough?” was successfully held, bringing together students, industry representatives, and academic staff. The session was moderated by Professor Dragana Manestar Vuksan, PAR’s Publishing Manager and lecturer in Croatian and English language, who guided a dynamic and engaging discussion. She was joined by two students and three company representatives, offering diverse perspectives from both the academic and professional environment.The discussion focused on the importance of communication skills in dual education, questioning whether practical experience alone is sufficient for students entering the labour market. Through open dialogue and real-life examples, participants explored the balance between technical competencies and communication readiness.The session provided valuable insights and encouraged active exchange between all participants, once again confirming the importance of connecting education with industry practice.
