The study visit aimed to understand how Mondragon University implements the Dual model across its faculties, focusing on faculty experiences to identify challenges and facilitators. The visit began with Jon Altuna’s overview of the university and its Dual model. The Faculty of Business Studies presented the myGADE degree, followed by a round table with faculty members. In the afternoon, the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences introduced the Audiovisual Communication degree and hosted another enriching round table for the DUALBA project. The next day began with a DUALBA partners’ session to review progress and clarify next steps. Participants then visited the Bilbao AS Fabrik building and attended a lecture on cooperatives by Marixe Ruiz de Austri to better understand Mondragon University’s mission. A presentation by Iñigo Larrea on Mondragon Corporation followed, and the day ended with insights into the Faculty of Gastronomic Sciences. On the final day, the Faculty of Engineering explained how the Dual model is organized within its programs, complemented by a round table led by Leire Markuerkiaga. The visit concluded with UNIBASQ’s overview of accreditation and quality requirements. Overall, the visit provided valuable knowledge exchange and will help Albanian partners shape their own Dual education model within the DUALBA project.
