Leveraging Initial Success into Broader Collaborative Research Programs
Transforming Collaborations into Several Strategic Projects

At MCAST, we have a strong track record of successful collaboration with a diverse range of partners to enhance the learning experience and broaden opportunities for our students, academics, researchers, and the institution as a whole. These partnerships are central to our mission of providing high-quality, practice-based education and ensuring our relevance in an increasingly interconnected and dynamic educational landscape. Our active involvement in the EU4DUAL Alliance has significantly strengthened these collaborative efforts. This strategic alliance has not only allowed us to co-develop innovative dual education models but also opened the door for deeper engagement with like-minded institutions on a range of complementary initiatives. Through the EU4DUAL project, MCAST has been able to extend its collaboration into other impactful projects, such as Engage All and the App Mobility Project. In the Engage All project, MCAST is working closely with key partners including DHBW (Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg) and Mondragon University, among others. This project focuses on inclusive digital education, fostering engagement strategies that ensure no learner is left behind, while promoting pedagogical innovation and digital transformation in higher education.

Similarly, in the APP Mobility Project, MCAST has partnered with ESTIA Institute of Technology (France), Mondragon University (Spain), and Savonia University of Applied Sciences (Finland) amongst other partners. This initiative is designed to enhance the quality and accessibility of student and staff mobility through the development of digital tools and applications, thereby promoting a more seamless and enriched international learning experience.

These projects exemplify MCAST’s commitment to active, meaningful partnerships that generate mutual value and long-term impact. By working collaboratively across borders and disciplines, we continue to strengthen our institutional capacity, drive innovation in vocational and applied education, and ensure that our community is well-prepared to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future.
