ESTABLISHING LOGISTICS START-UP COMPANIES: THE ROLE OF INSTITUTIONS

The latest EU4DUAL Alliance conference centered on the strategic themes of the Green Economy and the Future of Work—key areas where research, industry innovation, and policymaking collaboratively seek sustainable solutions.

As part of this focused agenda, Dr. Erika Varga, an Associate Professor from Neumann János University, travelled to Bidart, France, to participate in the high-profile “New Technologies for Green Economy” roundtable discussion. The discourse primarily addressed current energy challenges, with a specific focus on the future and pivotal role of hydrogen energy within the transportation sector.

Dr. Varga Erika’s presentation was highly relevant and timely: she introduced the audience to the hydrogen-based public transport development plans for the city of Kecskemét, effectively placing local Hungarian innovation into an international context. This participation ensured that the academic perspective was well-represented in a dialogue that also included industrial players, technology developers, and key decision-makers.

The event fostered a truly interdisciplinary experience, allowing scientific research and practical implementation to go hand-in-hand toward achieving a green and sustainable future. This collaborative engagement reaffirmed Neumann János University’s dedication to the core objectives of the EU4DUAL Alliance and its commitment to environmental sustainability.
