Getting to Kecskemét

Kecskemét lies 80 km south of Budapest. The city has 120,000 residents and sits in Hungary’s Great Plain region.

By car

Take the M5 motorway from Budapest. Journey time is one hour.

From Budapest Airport by bus and train

Take bus 200E from the airport to Ferihegy Train Station (fifth stop, 12 minutes). Buy your ticket at the airport post office, newsagent, or vending machine.

Board the InterCity train to Kecskemét from platform 2. Trains depart hourly. The journey takes 50 minutes.

Total travel time: Allow 1hour and 40 minutes from landing to arrival in Kecskemét.

Trains depart from Budapest Western (Nyugati) Railway Station every hour. The journey takes 80 minutes.
