EU4Dual is strengthening the connections between teachers and researchers across the Alliance through the Teachers & Researchers Network (TRN), a dedicated space designed to make expertise more visible, facilitate collaboration and create new opportunities for academic staff.
With nine universities, around 40 campuses and more than 6,600 staff members, EU4Dual brings together a broad pool of knowledge, experience and professional networks. The TRN aims to turn this scale into meaningful connections by helping academics identify colleagues with complementary expertise, discover research interests across partner institutions and start new teaching or research collaborations.
Through the TRN, academic staff will be able to search for colleagues by institution, expertise or topic, explore academic profiles and share relevant activities, opportunities and information with the wider EU4Dual community.
The network supports the Alliance’s three broad areas of shared challenges: Future of Work, Green Economy and Healthy Living, while also encouraging interdisciplinary cooperation across institutions.
New TRN platform coming soon
A new dedicated TRN platform has already been developed and is currently undergoing the final GDPR-related steps before launch. It is expected to become available around mid-September 2026.
In the meantime, teachers and researchers interested in joining the network can register their interest and will receive further information once the platform becomes available.
The platform will be open to academic staff from EU4Dual member universities and associated partners.
TRN information sessions across EU4Dual
During autumn 2026, EU4Dual universities will also organise local TRN information sessions. These sessions will give academic staff the opportunity to learn more about the Alliance, discover collaboration opportunities and meet the local TRN representatives at their institution.
The next step in this initiative will be the EU4Dual TRN event on 3 September 2026, focused on international collaboration opportunities for academic staff and on how EU4Dual can support connections between teachers and researchers across Europe.
