EU4Dual has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious Quality Austria Quality Team Award, highlighting the alliance’s commitment to excellence in quality management and continuous improvement across European higher education.

A European approach to quality excellence

The recognition is based on the project “Excellence@EU4DUAL – Ganzheitlicher Qualitätsansatz für europäische Sichtbarkeit”, which presents an integrated and strategic quality framework implemented across the alliance. Developed in alignment with the EFQM model, this approach reinforces EU4Dual’s focus on impact, transparency, and institutional development at a European level.

Driving impact through collaboration

This achievement reflects the dedicated work of the Quality Management and Impact Monitoring Team (WP9), whose efforts have been key in designing and implementing a comprehensive quality assurance system. Their work supports EU4Dual’s mission to enhance the effectiveness, visibility, and long-term sustainability of its activities.

Presence at the Quality Austria Forum

As part of this recognition, representatives from FH JOANNEUM attended the 31st Quality Austria Forum, where the award ceremony took place. The event brought together leading organisations and experts in quality management, offering an opportunity to exchange best practices and strengthen international collaboration.

A milestone for EU4Dual

While EU4Dual was not selected as the final winner, being named among the top initiatives represents a significant milestone for the alliance. It underlines EU4Dual’s role as a forward-looking European University Alliance committed to innovation, quality, and collaboration.

EU4Dual will continue to build on this recognition, advancing its mission to strengthen dual education models and contribute to the transformation of European higher education.
