From idea to impact: iDual entrepreneurship mobility at Savonia University of Applied Sciences

October 22, 2025

A hands-on example of how dual education connects innovation, learning, and entrepreneurship across Europe.

Between May and July 2025, Savonia University of Applied Sciences hosted Justin Linon, an engineering student from the French ESTIA Institute of Technology. Justin visited Savonia through the iDual entrepreneurship programme. The programme gives students the opportunity to develop their own business ideas abroad, turning them into real prototypes and viable startups.

During his stay in Finland, Justin created his startup project Exp’Pyr, focused on designing innovative supports for e-bikes. Supported by the Business Center Pohjois-Savo and local mentors, he explored market needs, developed a prototype, and experienced the Finnish innovation ecosystem first-hand.

This experience perfectly reflects the vision of the iDual entrepreneurship mobility programme of the European Dual Studies University – EU4Dual. The programme empowers students to learn by doing, fosters entrepreneurship, and connects education with real business challenges across borders.

EU4DUAL entrepreneurship mobility is Savonia’s contribution to IDual entrepreneurship.
