A milestone in quality and impact across the alliance
EU4Dual is proud to announce the successful completion of its first EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) assessment, earning a score of 306 points and the prestigious 3-star “Recognized for Excellence” award. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the alliance’s ongoing commitment to quality assurance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
The assessment was conducted by Quality Austria within the framework of the Austrian State Prize for Corporate Quality, a respected benchmark for organizational excellence. The process was led by Work Package 9: Quality Management and Impact Monitoring, and involved the collaboration of teams from all partner institutions.
A comprehensive and collaborative process
The hybrid assessment, hosted by FH JOANNEUM in Graz, Austria, brought together representatives from across the EU4Dual alliance, both onsite and online. Over several days, assessors conducted an in-depth organizational maturity screening, reviewing strategic alignment, quality culture, stakeholder involvement, and measurable impact.
Roswitha Wiedenhofer-Bornemann, leader of Work Package 9, emphasized the importance of this collective effort:
“This achievement reflects our dedicated commitment to excellence, continuous improvement, and the highest quality standards.”
Next steps
This first EFQM recognition lays the groundwork for even greater progress. A second EFQM assessment is planned before the end of the current funding period, further strengthening EU4Dual’s quality framework and its long-term impact on European higher education.
Congratulations to all partners and team members who contributed to this shared success.
