Staff mobility offers short-term international exchanges (typically 2–5 days) for staff members at EU4Dual partner universities. The goal is to exchange knowledge, develop skills, and build long-term collaborations between universities.
Through staff mobility you can:
Gain new skills and perspectives for career development.
Enhance teaching and innovation at your institution.
Who can apply?
Staff mobility is open to both academic and non-academic staff employed by EU4Dual universities.
Mobility can take different forms:
Teaching visits – Academic staff teach a set number of hours at a partner university.
Staff visits – Professional development activities like work shadowing, workshops, or benchmarking.
Preparing people for tomorrow’s jobs
Combination mobility – A mix of teaching and professional development.

Funding and how to apply
Staff mobility is usually funded by Erasmus+. In Hungary, a similar scheme called Pannonia is available. The mobility grant helps cover travel, living, and housing costs, but your home university may also contribute to expenses. Staff mobility applicants are selected by their home university based on their own criteria and timelines. Find out more about funding and the application process, contact your mobilitycoordinator or your home university’s International Office to learn more about eligibility.
