She is a member of the Executive & Global Strategy Council of WACE, the World Association for Cooperative & Work-Integrated Education. Dr McRae has over 30 years of experience in higher education with a focus on connecting students to the world of work and to community engagement through forms of work-integrated learning and experiential education. She has also conducted doctoral research on the conditions for students’ transformative learning in work-integrated learning and has additional expertise in intercultural communication and learning outcomes development. She has served as Executive Director of the University of Victoria and is currently Associate Provost at the University of Waterloo, Canada.
