Theme

Explore Dual Higher Education (Dual HE) and European experiences. Examine the effect of cooperative learning in higher education with us.

  • We’ll explore the EU4Dual Framework. We’ll discuss its impact and the path to excellence. Learn about Europe’s diverse Dual Education models.
  • Assess policies, challenges, and success stories.
  • Share best practices and pedagogical insights that foster excellence in dual study programmes.

  • Implementation challenges and successes across Europe
  • Effective pedagogical strategies in Dual Higher Education

Format

The seminar will have a hybrid format. Participation will be enabled online. We also encourage personal participation, if possible.
Time for discussion and breakout rooms may facilitate exchange among participants.

Seminar topics and presentations

Seminar topics

  • Research in the remaining EU countries about national policies and regulations of Dual studies and/or work-based learning
  • Pedagogical techniques for Dual education
  • Best practices in integration between research, teaching and world of work experience (knowledge and technology transfer).
  • Difficulties and success in the implementation of the Dual model
  • Impact on stakeholders of Dual HE
  • The framework of “Dual HE” and its national model of provision in the EU4DUAL states (policies and practices)

You are a researcher or doctoral student? Then submit your research or best practice for a chance to be published in the ‘European Journal of Dual Higher Education’.

Your paper needs to be aligned with our themes. Accepted papers will be published in the first half of 2025.
