Dr Oonagh McGirr FRSA: She is involved in research on academic leadership for sustainable and equitable higher education, with a focus on inclusivity and enhancement. Dr McGirr is a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts Foundation, which aims to promote and encourage the transformation of world-leading ideas into actions, for a world where everyone can fulfil their potential and contribute to more resilient, rebalanced and regenerative futures. She supports the dissemination of innovation in applied education and training with the World Alliance for Microcredentials, and works in an advisory capacity to several international charities, including Help at Hand. Her applied practice draws on the field of autoethnography, casting a feminist lens on the deployment of leadership in uncertain times. She is currently College Director and Principal of Navitas, one of the world’s largest education providers with over 60,000 aspiring learners each year at over 90 colleges and campuses across our global network in 20 countries, supported by a diverse and talented group of over 5,000 employees.
