Les EU4Dual Research & Innovation Challenge Prize 2025<\/strong> was awarded to Prof. Dr. Marcus Strand<\/strong> from DHBW Karlsruhe<\/strong>, Germany, for his groundbreaking project titled \u201cA Holistic Approach for Dynamic and Ergonomic Adaptation of Robot Movements Using Geometric Algebra.\u201d<\/em> This award, presented at the EU4Dual Annual Conference, recognizes exceptional research within the field of Dual Higher Education, specifically focusing on the Future of Work<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Commitment to Transformative Research<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As part of the EU4Dual initiative\u2019s commitment<\/strong> to fostering socially impactful research within Dual Higher Education, the 2025 Research & Innovation Challenge Prize sought to recognize high-impact, evidence-based research<\/strong> that contributes to transformative societal change. Launched during the EU4Dual Annual Conference, hosted by ESTIA (France)<\/strong> and Mondragon University (Spain)<\/strong>, the competition attracted a wide array of innovative projects aligned with the conference’s key theme: the Future of Work<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Highlights of the Challenge<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • Submissions<\/strong>: a total of 24 project submissions<\/strong> were received from 11 countries<\/strong>, with notable contributions from Austria<\/strong>, Malta<\/strong>, and Spain<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Evaluation Process<\/strong>: the submissions underwent a double-blind peer review<\/strong> process, assessed based on six critical dimensions: relevance<\/strong>, transformative potential<\/strong>, innovation and practicality<\/strong>, clarity<\/strong>, social innovation<\/strong>, and overall quality<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Final Nominees<\/strong>: from the nine highly recommended projects, five were shortlisted<\/strong> for final evaluation. After thorough reviews, these projects competed live at the conference, where Prof. Dr. Marcus Strand’s project<\/strong> emerged as the winner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
