Wind energy is key to a cleaner future, but what happens when wind turbine blades<\/strong> reach the end of their life? The EoLO-HUBs project<\/strong>, funded by the European Union, is developing innovative solutions to dismantle, recycle, and reuse these massive structures in an efficient and sustainable way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project focuses on improving recycling technologies<\/strong>, such as low-carbon thermal and chemical processes, to recover high-quality materials. These materials, like reinforced fibres<\/strong>, can then be reused in industries such as automotive, construction, and renewable energy, reducing waste and promoting a circular economy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, EoLO-HUBs is creating a Knowledge Hub<\/strong>\u2014an online platform to share best practices, technologies, and connect experts in sustainable blade management. This ensures that wind energy continues to be a truly green solution, helping to build a cleaner and more sustainable future for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
