But connecting sensors, data, and manufacturing processes requires engineers who understand both worlds. This article describes new training materials that bridge telecommunications and mechanical engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What the training covers:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Networking fundamentals: IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and the IoT model<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Materials science: composite materials, vacuum infusion, and post-infusion treatment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on practice: performing vacuum infusion and monitoring process parameters using IoT sensors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 24-hour programme \u2014 spanning three days of theory and practice \u2014 was developed by ESTIA and its composite platform, Composiadour.
